Do I need a passport to travel?

If you are traveling outside of the United States, you do need a passport, and it must be valid for at least 6 months past the date of your return from a trip. So if you are traveling in June, then your passport expiration date cannot be before December of that year. For cruises, even though some cruise lines do not require a passport for certain itineraries, we still strongly suggest having one in case of an emergency that would require you to depart your cruise early to fly home. You cannot fly from a different country back to the United States without a valid passport. We also strongly encourage you to renew your passport about a year before the expiration to allow for processing times and mailing.

Do I need Travel Protection Insurance?

We do strongly encourage all our travelers to purchase travel protection for their vacation. Travel protection has a range of coverages that can protect you before as well as during your trip. Many companies also provide a ‘Cancel for any reason’ coverage that allows you to cancel your trip for any reason up to one day before departure. We work with several preferred insurance providers and can offer a quote for your trip.

Do you charge a Planning fee?

Yes, we do charge a Professional Fee for our planning and travel consulting services. We work for you, not the hotel, resort, or cruise line, so our fee covers our time in creating custom and itineraries tailored specifically to your desires and unique vacation preferences. We do not do ‘cookie-cutter’ itineraries as every traveler and vacation is different. Our typical fee for vacation planning starts at $250, but may vary depending on length and complexity of your trip. We also offer a new service called Wanderlist™ Travel Portfolio planning that uses a unique ‘Netflix-like’ platform that aids in organizing your Bucket List destination interests for you and your travel companions. Why should I use a Travel Advisor?

Utilizing a Travel Advisor to assist with your vacation provides many benefits. We love getting to know our clients to learn their likes and dislikes and help to pair that with the type of vacation experience they are looking for. We have the knowledge and resources to find the best supplier, hotel, resort, or tour that will fit the type of vacation experience you want to have. We provide assistance before, during, and even after your trip and are available 24/7 when our clients are traveling, so that we may be of service for any need that may arise. We are also affiliated with the Virtuoso network, which also allows us to provide many added amenities and benefits that you wouldn’t be able to get on your own.

What if I’m traveling solo?

That’s perfect! We understand the unique needs of an independent traveler (as I have been one myself!) so are happy to assist with anyone looking to explore on their own. We also offer group trips geared specifically for solo travelers, so you get the best of both worlds by meeting new like-minded people on your trips, but also allows for independent downtime as well. Let us know if you are looking for a an independent vacation or if you are interested in any of our solo-traveler group trips for 2020 or 2021.

Do you offer Group and Incentive vacations?

Yes! We love to work with groups, including Spa, Wellness, Yoga retreats, Women’s only vacations and many more. Also, if you are a company/ corporation looking for employee incentive trips, or unique vacations to ‘give back’ to local communities, we can assist with that too.
